During the Sunset of the Gods, the bird lost an eye while fighting for Leosa. Many years later, a burning-hot ruby was found by a group of explorers amidst the ocean’s ebbing tide. If one peers closely into it, it is almost as if it returns one’s gaze with the fire of the God of Light and the rage of the Phoenix.
